The 2012 wedding season has officially begun. Scott Campbell Photography started out the wedding season with a bang, photographing Sara & Davíd‘s (both internationally acclaimed opera singers) Pebble Beach wedding. The day began at the Inn at Spanish Bay, with the bride and groom preparing in their respective rooms. After the reveal, the wedding party made its way to the Church in the Forest, where a beautiful ceremony was held. Finally, Sara & David wrapped the day up with a reception at the Beach Club. San Francisco’s Pop Fiction set the tone for a fun night with a range of excellent covers, and later on Sara & David even got on stage and sang to each other.

Earlier this week, we worked with advertising agency Borders, Perrin, Norrander to produce a series of images for the Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau. Here’s a sneak peak at some of the photographs BPN/MCCVB will be using for the new campaign!

A couple weeks back, I had the chance to photograph some beautiful and edgy models as part of the Monterey Museum of Art‘s (MMA) “Fierce Fashion, Artful Circumstance” event. Hosted by Oya Salon at Homescapes, the event served as a fundraiser for MMA’s future exhibitions and educational programs.

The Scott Campbell Photography team had a great time at our most recent shoot for Pacific’s Edge Restaurant at the Highlands Inn in Carmel. Gorgeous ocean views, pleasant weather, and a friendly staff made for a fun and exciting shoot. Below is a short “behind-the-scenes” montage produced by Austin Long, SCP’s newest addition to the team.

Dylan is the newest member of the Webster family. We photographed Katie and Craig’s wedding at Holman Ranch in 2009 and they have remained one of our favorite couples ever since. The Webster’s just installed this wall collage in Dylan’s bedroom with images from our September photo shoot.

It’s been a busy year and we realize that our blog postings have been rather limited. As things start to slow down, we are working diligently to get caught up. You can look forward to a couple more stories this year with our blog returning in full-effect for 2012.

Here’s a quick one from early this month. Marge & Jeffrey’s November 5th wedding can best be described with one word: Fun! Spirits were high and there were plenty of warm smiles to counter the cool autumn afternoon. You couldn’t ask for a better venue than the country club at Tehama. After a beautiful ceremony, celebration was in the air. The reception was characterized by heartfelt speeches, delicious food, laughter, and dancing that continued late into the night.

Julia and Michael had a beautiful wedding service at the Carmel Mission followed by a traditional Korean tea ceremony at Bernardus. Julia was wearing an exquisite Carolina Herrera dress and Manolo Blahnik shoes. They both changed in to their gorgeous customary clothing for the traditional ceremony. The day was filled with love, laughter, and lots of bright colors. Thanks to Amy Byrd, the wedding coordinator, the day was a huge success. The lovely couple couldn’t resist the opportunity to do a quick improvised shooting session at the beach. Their outgoing and fun personalities showed all the way to the end of the night when the groom put on a “Just Married” sign.
